Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of StrengthForge OS — our mobile app, coach and athletic-director dashboards, and related services (together, the "Service"), operated by StrengthForge OS ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Who may use the Service

• You must be at least 13 years old to have an account. We do not knowingly create accounts for children under 13.
• If you are under 18, you may use the Service only with the awareness and involvement of a parent, guardian, or coach, and where required, a parent or guardian must provide consent.
• If you accept these Terms on behalf of a school, club, team, or other organization, you represent that you are authorized to bind that organization.

2. Accounts and sign-in

You sign in with Google; we never receive or store your password. You are responsible for activity under your account, for keeping your sign-in secure, and for providing accurate information. One account is for one person — do not share credentials.

3. Coaches, athletes, parents, and schools

The Service connects athletes with the coaches, programs, and organizations they choose to join. An athlete connects to a coach only by entering an invite code, and can disconnect. Coaches and program administrators are responsible for how they run their programs and for the athlete data they collect and manage. When a school or district uses the Service, that institution is responsible for its own obligations regarding student data (for example, under FERPA and applicable state law). We provide tools; we do not act as the school.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to: misuse or interfere with the Service; attempt to access data you are not authorized to see; upload unlawful, harmful, or infringing content; impersonate others; use the Service to harass anyone; or use it in violation of your school, league, or governing body rules. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

5. Health, safety, and no medical advice

• Readiness and wellness inputs are self-reported by athletes. They are signals to help coaches and parents, not diagnoses, and nothing in the Service is medical advice.
• The Service does not replace an athletic trainer, physician, your organization’s Emergency Action Plan, or emergency services. In any emergency, call 911 and follow your Emergency Action Plan.
• Physical training carries inherent risk. Athletes, parents, and coaches are responsible for training safely, for appropriate supervision and conditioning, and for consulting qualified professionals about health and fitness decisions. Suggested weights and workouts are guidance only and should be adjusted by a qualified coach.
• You assume the risks of participation in athletic activity. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for injuries arising from training or competition.

6. Your content and data

You retain ownership of the information you provide. You grant us the limited rights needed to operate and improve the Service (for example, to store your data and show it to a coach you have connected to). Our handling of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy, which is part of these Terms. We do not sell personal information.

7. Fees, subscriptions, and pilots

Athletes and parents use the Service for free. Programs, schools, or districts may purchase a subscription or license on the terms agreed at purchase. Free pilots are provided as described in the applicable pilot arrangement and carry no obligation to purchase. Fees, where they apply, are as stated in your order.

8. Third-party services

We rely on third-party providers, including Supabase (hosting and authentication) and Google (sign-in). Your use of those features is also subject to those providers’ terms. We are not responsible for third-party services.

9. Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design, and content we provide, is owned by StrengthForge OS and protected by law. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service as intended. You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer, or resell the Service.

10. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that data will always be available.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, StrengthForge OS and its owners will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or data, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us for the Service in the twelve months before the claim (or, if you paid nothing, one hundred U.S. dollars).

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless StrengthForge OS from claims and expenses arising out of your misuse of the Service or your violation of these Terms or of applicable law.

13. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time and request account deletion (see the Privacy Policy). We may suspend or end access if you violate these Terms or to protect the Service or its users. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the Service evolves. We will post the updated version here and change the effective date above. Your continued use after an update means you accept the change.

15. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oklahoma, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Oklahoma, and you consent to their jurisdiction, except where applicable law provides otherwise.
